I hope you and family is fine. I would introduce myself, My name is Dedi Kurniadi (one of participant @AMIDA in Yogyakarta this afternoon. Our institution is www.seaplant.net and www.jasuda.net. We are understood for GPA, in my mind the GPA is talk about how to give not what can we get. How the GPA effective to make change for Micro Finance institution better if they have been high level (base on financial). I suggestion if the Micro Finance have top level GPA, they have responsibility to making a certified for their client have done GPA, and their product. That it, sorry for my comment.
Thank you for your comments Dedi. As we discussed on Thursday, I fully support your suggestion to connect a certification scheme to the MFIs that use the GPA. This could help the clients of the MFI improve their market position, and ultimately benefit both the clients and the MFI. In our work in Indonesia we will certainly include your remarks and search for the feasibility of this idea.
